John Spence (center) RC Vice President for Development was the first recipient of the Frank Conrad Award. It was presented to Spence in May of 1970 by Station Manager Mark Groth (left) and General Manager Ross Hunter (right).
The Frank Conrad Award was given to the person who most helped WRCR during the year. Spence made it possible for WRCR to move to new studio space in the lower level of the Burpee Center addition.
